Front-Office and Sales Management
We spend most of our coop $$ on direct mail pieces. We have been using the radio spots for branding and this was very successful. We are stopping the radio ads because we are going exclusive with our carrier.

Depends on your target audience. We too have used Radio for branding over the years, but it does nothing for a call to action. Our business is primarily B2B, so we use our co-op dollars to get our reps in front of decision makers: Trade shows, networking, niche sponsorships, etc. -

How is direct mail working for you? I will be implementing direct mailings to jump start our new adds in 2008. I have never tried this method of marketing. I'm looking to target the general consumer within a 5 mile radius from my store.
I have never really done any real advertising for my store. I started in the paging boom and transitioned to a legacy Nextel dealer. Now running an exclusive Sprint dealer. I have always stayed busy without any advertising. Now with todays economy and Sprints chrun problem I will kick off an aggressive advertising program for 2008. I'm thinking of using my co-op dollars in the same way. -

Hey Sprint dealer! We are too a Sprint dealer. Are you having any problems with getting paid for coop with the new vendor.... -

I personally dislike radio advertising. I prefer to advertise with targetted advertising (direct mail, some print). Plus I get more co-op from Telus with print advertising than I do with radio.
