U.S. Cellular Q2 Results

U.S. Cellular Q2 2008 results show that subscriber growth had slowed but data revenues are growing strong.  The company had a 45 percent increase in data revenues for a total of $123.7 million.  U.S. Cellular's service revenues were also up 9 percent for a total of $987.4 million, however the company's subscriber growth has slowed. 

According to Fierce Wireless, Net customer adds were just 16,000 for the quarter, down from 74,000 in first quarter and down from 37,000 in the same quarter last year. Gross customer adds were 365,000 down from 409,000 in first quarter and down from 418,000 in the same quarter the previous year.
