Samsung and Motorola Lead in Touchscreen Use

ABI research has reported that the number of devices featuring touchscreen displays will increase dramatically over the next few years. In 2009, revenue from devices using touchscreens will be over $5 billion. Samsung is currently the world leader in touchscreen devices, with 33 percent of the global market followed by Motorola with 30 percent and Sony Ericsson with 24 percent.
The Asian markets are the biggest contributors to these numbers.
