Qwest Begins Offering Verizon Wireless Services

Qwest Communications International Inc. is now offering Verizon Wireless services to all new customers in its residential area. Qwest had stopped reselling Sprint Nextel's wireless service back in and May and had signed a 5-year agreement with Verizon. Qwest had contributed about 824,000 subscribers to Sprint's total of 53.8 million subscribers at the end of last year.
Qwest will be contacting its existing Qwest Wireless customers with recommendations for Verizon Wireless calling plans and handsets.
