AT&T Q2 Results

AT&T currently has 72.9 million subscribers, an increase of 9.2 million when compared with Q2 2007. Although voice ARPU has declined, data ARPU has risen 32.2 percent versus previous quarter. 

The company also reported an income of US$2.998 billion on revenue of $12.0 billion, an income figure that is up a staggering 92.9 percent from Q2 2007.  The blended churn rate was reported as 1.6 percent for the quarter, and the contracted churn rate was 1.1 percent.  This suggests that there is a high level of satisfaction for AT&T's customers.
